Eva's Esthetics has been in business for over 30 years. One thing we know for sure is that things change and you have to change with them to stay in business. In order to do those things and be successful you have to have clients, many clients.

With the changes in the economy, client demographics and business constraints...are you doing something new? Here are a few ideas that may help inspire you.

1. Confirm appointments Tuesdays - Thursdays. You are more likely to reach your clients and have a good conversation with them.

2. Ask for referrals from your clients. We all tell our friends and family about a great restaurant we just went to, right? Don't be shy. Tell your clients you are available to take more clients and would love for them to tell their friends about you. Be sure to thank them when they send someone your way.

3. Give your business card to everyone you talk to. Everyone is a potential client or might give your card to someone else.

4. Pay a visit to the other businesses near you. Introduce yourself and let them know what your services are. You might start getting lunchtime clients that need eyebrow waxing or clients that want to come by after work.

5. Social networking is a must, but not everything. Having a Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter page is very important. Stay connected to your clients by whatever methods they prefer. Don't forget, a good old phone call works too.

6. Sell your clients home care! Spend a few minutes after their treatment and sell them something to keep them looking good until you see them again. If you have a skin care line that doesn't have retail, or you don't get tech support from the company you are using, or aren't confident with the products you are using... you should call us. The mother of seven, Eva began a journey that revolutionized the salon industry with one of the most unique skin care lines in the country. She literally helped write the State Board book on how esthetics should be taught in California. Eva's Esthetics is now in its second generation. The company is operated by two of Eva's daughters, Lori and Lisa Nestore. As President and Vice President of Eva’s Esthetics, they continue Eva’s dream. Custom Cleansing Oils

We believe that nothing cleans the skin as well as hydrophilic oil. Oil cleansers balance your skin, prepares it for exfoliation, hydration, absorption of nutrients, and protection.

As skin cells die they lose moisture, flatten, and migrate to the skins surface. The face excretes a very sticky, oily substance known as sebum which bonds to dead skin cells. In order for these cells to be released, this oily sebum must be dissolved.

When a hydrophilic oil is massaged into the skin it bonds with the sebum and releases the dead cells. This release of the dead layer of skin achieves exceptional pore cleansing, decongestion and a more refined skin appearance. Adding the correct Herbalizer, a sugar-based extract with essential oils, creates a custom cleansing system.

Tu'eL has four customized formulations of cleansers based on this cleansing system to ensure that, regardless of your skin type (dry, combination/oily, impure or reactive), you can enjoy the benefits of cleansing with oil.

Skin Analysis Basics

The Basics of Skin Analysis by Eva's Esthetics

At Eva's esthetics we analyze the skin by pore size, cleanse according to type and treat for the condition.

Skin Type - Dry

Tu'eL Product – Vitamin Line

Characteristics: Small pores with few large pores that are less than 1/3 of the face.

Dry skin has few oil glands and small pores. It could appear flaky around the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead or have larger pores in the nose area. This skin type can age early. It may be congested and look dehydrated. Dry skin can feel rough because of a buildup of dry skin cells.


Skin Type: Combination

Tu'eL Product – Azulene Combination Line

Characteristics: Medium to large pores occupying 1/3 of the face.

This skin is often classified as “normal” because all skin has more sebaceous oil glands in the T-Zone than other areas of the face.
Combination skin can have blackheads, but they are generally few and small in size. The outside areas (cheeks, forehead and hairline) are often non-oily and tend to have a more refined appearance.


Skin Type: Dry, Product Reactive

Tu'eL Product – Chamomile Line

Typical Characteristics: Dry skin that reacts to products.

This skin has small pores and is always product reactive. Reactions can be mild to severe and include: swelling, pain, burning, itching and welts. This skin needs to be treated gently with a calming product.


Skin Type: Oily

Tu'eL Product – Azulene Oily Line

Characteristics: Medium to large pores occupying 1/2 to all of the face.

The general look of oily skin is an overall sheen to the face. Oily skin always has large pores and the T-Zone usually has blackheads.
Oily skin can be found in any age group and can appear to be dehydrated. Don’t be mislead by this, if there are large pores and blackheads, it’s oily.


Skin Type: Acne

Tu'eL Product – Purifying Line

Characteristics: All skin types with regular breakouts occupying a large area of the face.
Impure skin can appear on any type or age. It will be present with some or all of the following: pimples, pustules, blackheads, whiteheads, cysts and nodules. This skin needs breakout control, refinement and balance.
